CX Goalkeeper: The Official CXWG Podcast

Gregorio Uglioni brought an added layer of reflection and visibility to CXWG through the official podcast. Through the CX Goalkeeper Podcast, he helped capture the thinking, energy, and learning behind the Games, creating space for conversations that connected the experience of participants, captains, judges, and the wider CX community.

His contribution helped extend the reach of the programme beyond the challenges themselves, giving the community a way to follow the stories, perspectives, and purpose behind each edition in a thoughtful and accessible format.

The Captains

The 2025 edition was guided by four captains: Sharon Boyd, Luciana Eva Krasñansky, Mike McClelland, and Thulani Ncube.

Each of them played an important role in supporting teams throughout the Games, helping participants work collaboratively, stay focused on the challenge, and shape ideas into practical responses for the organisations involved.

Together, they brought experience, encouragement, and a strong sense of shared purpose to the programme.

Their leadership helped create an environment in which participants could learn from one another, contribute with confidence, and develop work that was both thoughtful and implementable.

The Challenges

The three challenges in the 2025 CXWG Global Edition reflected the breadth of support that charities and NGOs often need: improving fundraising experiences, strengthening long-term volunteer engagement, and rebuilding digital presence to enable support and visibility.

Although each organisation faced a very different situation, all three challenges asked participants to combine empathy, practical thinking, and implementable ideas in response to real needs.

From Edinburgh to Bogotá to Uganda, the 2025 challenges showed how CXWG brings people together to work on issues that matter in very different contexts. Each one gave teams the opportunity to develop solutions that were not only thoughtful and creative, but also grounded in usefulness for the organisation involved.
