THE
CHALLENGES

THE CHALLENGES.

What Types of Challenges Are We Anticipating?

Our challenges vary widely, addressing important issues in different contexts. For instance, we've supported initiatives such as enhancing the donor experience for a home that cares for the elderly in Colombia.

One notable challenge from 2022 focused on "Mothers and Children in Conflict: The Most Vulnerable—How Can They Be Helped?" Participants were tasked with identifying and proposing tools that spontaneous volunteers or groups could use to provide emotional and psychological support to mothers and children. The aim was to help them navigate their uncertainty and feel safer, reducing their risk of violence, harassment, or human trafficking.

Another challenge in the 2021 edition involved assisting LoveNotLost (now the Momento Foundation), founded by Ashley Jones. This NGO supports parents of children with terminal illnesses by helping them create meaningful memorials, allowing them to process their grief in a different way. The challenge was to enhance the user experience on their website to convert visitors into regular donors.

Additionally, the CXWG 2022 edition featured a challenge with the Crossroads Foundation, aimed at defining the optimal experience for interns and improving their management to turn them into advocates for the foundation's activities.

SOME CHARITIES.

Momento Foundation

Unites States

This organization, founded by Ashley Jones, addresses the critical need to process grief and trauma for a healthier, more connected society. With programs focused on preserving memories for families facing terminal illness, providing resources and support for those navigating loss, and guiding corporations in creating empathetic workplaces, they aim to transform cycles of pain into healing. Believing in our natural capacity to heal, they envision a world where we support one another in processing grief, ultimately healing ourselves and our communities.
